New York is probably the most cosmopolitan place in America, and here at night, there are colored lights that bring an indescribable feeling of a bustling, dynamic city and possibly even luxury , material.
I went to New York on a late winter and early spring day. At that time, it was cold. Heat is always below 0 degrees. Snow is everywhere from the previous storm a few days. Arriving in New York, I could not help but feel excited about the crowded and bustling city. Nearly a week ago, I was in Washington DC, a quiet and not crowded city. I enjoy it very much because how long I’ve been surrounded by the job, the people are busy and angry in life. But in DC for almost a week, I began to be impatient with that quietness. New York is a timely change.
New York is more crowded and bustling than Washington DC. Traffic jams have appeared. Vehicles, especially freighters, are parked comfortably without fear of being penalized because commercial vehicles are preferred. Some streets look a bit messy. New York looked cramped and stuffy. Skyscrapers are close to each other. The roads are not very wide and there are not many trees. New York has just experienced a snowstorm, so big snow piles are everywhere. However, I felt that the buildings with emergency staircases were clearly visible. Some private houses are located on the road which looks pretty.
Before I went to New York, I had been here by some of you who had threatened to say that New Yorkers were “terrible”. How horrible it is but it’s also a bit worried. But okay, the bustling atmosphere here started to make me curious and discover the blood. I only have more than 1 day in New York and the task is to save time. There was not much time, so I just went to some main places to return to be able to get caught up with the people.
If in New York just over 1 day, where should I go? I set a goal to go with the Statue of Liberty. Because it was already afternoon, I saved the next morning. Even in the afternoon, I spent some time visiting some of the main places such as the foot of the twin towers, Wall Street and the statue of the golden buffalo, symbolizing prosperity and wealth. In the evening, I was told to go to Times Square to see the colorful lights of New York. Too many things to go with time is limited.
Arriving in New York early in the afternoon, after I wandered around the area near the old twin towers, visiting Wall Street, the bridges in this city were already dark. After finishing dinner quickly, I continued on the road. Where are you going in New York? Someone suggested that I visit Time Square, or Times Square. Come here, watch the lights of all kinds. It is here to live in prosperity.
My first impression of Times Square was light. It’s shining everywhere and people don’t need street lights anymore. Large, large and colorful advertising screens, big and gorgeous. How many famous brands seem to have a place to stay here. I was dazzled by the brilliant colors emanating from the row of screen and billboards.
The center of the square also has an elevated space, where one can follow the steps up there to see the whole square and take photos. I walked on the wide pavement of the square, who was trembling because of the cold wind.
The square is too big, I can’t go through every corner, so I’m happy with what I see. It was also time to climb into the car to continue to visit New York early in the morning. An eye-catching evening.
