Method of water coloring in shrimp ponds

After preparing ponds and water coloring, this is aimed at developing phytoplankton to stabilize water color and create a favorable environment for shrimp to develop rapidly, increasing survival rate. Some effective coloring methods are as follows:

1. Method 1: According to formula 2: 1: 2 (2 kg rice bran or maize bran + 1 kg fish meal + 2 kg soybean meal). Mix the mixture well then cooked, cover for 2 – 3 days. Use bran to make color, 3 to 4 kg / 1,000 m3 of water, apply continuously for 3 days, until reaching the necessary degree (30 – 40 cm). 7 days after supplementation, the dose is reduced by half compared to the original (base water color to supplement).

2. Second method: According to formula 3: 1: 3 (3 kg of molasses + 1 kg of rice bran (or corn bran) + 3 kg of soybean meal). This formula does not need to be cooked, mix well then incubate for 12 hours. Use bran to fertilize color, dose of 2 – 3 kg / 1,000 m3 of water, apply continuously for 3 days until reaching the necessary degree (30 – 40 cm), 7 days after supplementation, Reduce 1/2 compared to the original (base water color to complement).

Method 3: Using EM preparations

3.1. Benefits of using EM preparations

For aquaculture animals:

– Destroy harmful microorganisms.

– When destroying contaminating microorganisms (H2S, SO2, NH3, …), EM will spray debris into sewage, sewers, breeding facilities and ponds.

– Reduce the number of flies, mosquitoes and insects in the environment.

– Prevent the process of rotting, mold in preserving agricultural products.

3.2. Produce EM2 from original EM (to lower production costs):

– Material (with 50L container):

+ 1 kg of molasses

+ 2 kg rice bran or corn meal

+ 10 g table salt

+ 1 liter EM root

+ 46 liters of clean bacteria

Original EM composition
– How to proceed:

+ Sterilize the containers

+ Take 46 liters of fresh water, clean bacteria (boiling water to cool as possible)

+ For 1 kg of molasses, stir well

+ For 2 kg of rice bran or cornstarch, stir well

+ Put in 10 g of salt, stir well

+ Put into 1 liter of original EM, stir well

+ Cover an anaerobic cap for 7 days

With larger volumes (100L, 200L, 500L, …), increase the materials in proportion to the increase in volume.

Using:

+ Water treatment: 50 liters EM2 / 1,000 m3 of water

+ Fish pond bottom treatment: 10 liters EM2 / 1.000 m2 pond bottom

+ Use periodically in ponds: 50 liters EM2 / 1.000 m3 water, in the first month 5-7 days, the second month 3-5 days, the third month 2 – 3 days /rolling.

+ Using stinky remedies: Use EM2 spray aerosol directly on the surface of the place to produce stench.

3.3. Produce EM5 from the original EM:

– Material:

+ 1 liter EM root

+ 1 liter of molasses

+ 1 liter of vinegar

+ 2 liters of wine

– How to proceed:

+ Use a bottle with lid, clean bacteria

+ Order for ingredients: 2 liters of wine → 1 liter of vinegar → 1 liter of molasses → 1 liter of EM root → stir well → cover.

+ Anaerobic for 3 days

– Using:

+ Fish pond bottom treatment: 5 liters EM5 / 1.000 m2

+ Water treatment: 4 liters EM5 / 1,000 m3, every 7 days, when shrimp increases the number of times use.

3.4. EM Garlic production from EM5:

– Material:

+ 1 liter EM 5

+ 1 kg of pureed garlic

+ 8 liters of clean water (boiling water to cool as possible)

– How to proceed:

+ Use a bottle with lid, clean bacteria

+ Order of ingredients: 8 liters of water → 1 kg of pure ground garlic → 1 liter of EM5 → stirring → cover.

+ Anaerobic for 24 hours

– Using:

+ Prevention: 1 liter of garlic EM + 10 kg of food, incubated after 1 hour, feeding periodically.

+ Treatment: Take double dose, continue to feed 7 – 10 days, then return to room dose.

3.5. Produce EM banana from EM2:

– Material:

+ 1 liter EM2

+ 1 kg banana peeled, mashed

– How to proceed:

+ Use a bottle with lid, clean bacteria

+ Order of ingredients: 1 kg of banana peeled puree → 1 liter of EM2 → stirring → tight.

+ Anaerobic for 24 hours

– Using:

1 liter EM banana + 10 kg food, incubated after 1 hour, continuous feeding.
